Cassidy Lackey VP, Handmark Studios
Cassidy Lackey, vice president of Handmark Studios, leads the company's custom development of mobile applications across a wide variety of devices and platforms including iPhone, Android, BlackBerry, Windows, and others. Under Cassidy's leadership, Handmark Studios has been responsible for the development of some of the most popular mobile applications including ZAGAT TO GO and a Oxford University Press titles, such as New Oxford American Dictionary and Thesaurus and the Oxford English Dictionary.
Cassidy's 15 years of industry experience has established him as a mobile expert. Cassidy began his career in the mobile industry as a software and usability engineer for Sprint. In 1997, he founded Mobile Generation Software, a company that developed software for Palm Pilot devices. He substantially grew the business until 2000 when it was acquired by Handmark.
Cassidy received his BA in Computer Science from Baylor in 1994.
