Handmark Announces “Tweet Madness” Video Contest for College Basketball Fans
Chance to win an NCAA Men’s Basketball Final Four trip package
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - (March 3, 2011) –To celebrate the launch of TweetCaster for iPhone on the App Store and its continued success on Android, leading mobile application developer Handmark® and its TweetCaster team are excited to announce the “Tweet Madness” Video Contest. Contestants have a chance to win an NCAA Men’s Basketball Final Four trip package.
Handmark is asking all the crazy fans from around the country to submit their most “interesting” video clip showcasing why they are “The biggest college basketball fan in America” at www.tweetcaster.com/tweetmadness. The video with the most votes will win:
· Two tickets to the Final Four Semifinals on April 2, 2011 in Houston, Texas
· $200 gas gift card for road tripping it to Houston
· Special TweetCaster tent for camping out at the event
· All that and….a bag of chips for late night snacking while in your tent
Video submissions are open now and will be accepted until 11:59 PM CT on March 17, 2011. The public voting period begins March 18, 2011 and closes on March 23, 2011 at 11:59 PM CT.
After submitting, contestants should tweet a link to their video submission via the TweetCaster app using #tweetcaster and #tweetmadness, in addition to spreading the word on Facebook to get votes. The TweetCaster for Twitter app is now available for iPhone and iPod touch on the App Store and Android users in Android Market.
