Paul Reddick joined Handmark as its Chief Executive Officer in October 2007. His unmatched level of experience in wireless services and ability to forecast wireless entertainment trends make him one of the most respected thought leaders in the industry. Paul has focused on building a successful business models to fully exploit the vast opportunities ahead in mobile media. He continues to drive the company's global presence and overall leadership in developing and distributing top-quality content.
Prior to joining Handmark, Paul led various breakthrough mobile entertainment initiatives for Sprint in a variety of leadership positions, including vice president of partner development and product innovation, as well as vice president of business development, strategy, and planning for Sprint's consumer division. He led industry-first agreements between wireless carriers and many major Internet brands, including Ameritrade, Yahoo, and Amazon; led the executive decision to deploy a multi-billion dollar EV-DO network; and pioneered mobile games, ringtones and full track music downloads in the US by forging many industry-first agreements. In addition, Paul was in charge of driving opportunistic investment, resulting in the founding of Sprint Nextel Ventures.
Before Sprint, Paul was with the Dallas and Oslo offices of McKinsey and Company, Inc., where he led strategy development, new business launches, divestitures, and operational improvement initiatives for clients in multiple industries in both the US and Europe.
Paul currently serves as an active board member for Rhythm NewMedia, a leading provider of ad funded mobile video services. He has also served as a board advisor for a variety of other innovative companies, including JAMDAT and iSkoot. Paul holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Kansas and an MBA from Stanford University.
